Your trust means everything to us, and we want you to feel completely at ease when using our app. We have built PromptIQ AI with your privacy at its heart, and this policy is here to explain — in plain, honest language — exactly what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you always have. No surprises, no hidden agendas — just transparency.1. Information We CollectPromptIQ AI collects only the minimum data necessary to deliver a quality experience:• Prompt text you enter for the purpose of generating optimised prompts and Multi-Brain AI Synthesis responses.
• Language preference and selected persona settings (profession, AI experience level, industry, communication style, goals, and optional free-text context about yourself) to personalise your output.
• Favourites and history data stored locally on your device.
• Cached copies of recent generations stored locally on your device for offline access. This data never leaves your device.
• Anonymous usage analytics (e.g. feature usage frequency) to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is included.
• Usage counters (daily and monthly counts of prompt generations, AI responses, chain generations, and master synthesis requests) stored locally on your device to manage subscription tier limits. These counters are anonymous and never leave your device.
• Usage pattern data stored locally on your device (such as preferred tone, most-used platform, and frequent topic keywords) to progressively improve prompt personalisation over time. This data never leaves your device.
• Subscription status to manage access to Pro and Unlimited features.We do NOT collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, or any other personal data unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g. via the support form).2. How We Use Your DataData you provide is used solely for the following purposes:• To generate AI-optimised prompts based on your input, enhanced with your profile context and usage patterns for maximum relevance.
• To power the built-in AI chat feature when you choose to use it.
• To save your favourites and history locally on your device for your convenience.
• To cache recent generations on your device so you can access them offline without an internet connection.
• To generate combined summaries of multiple AI responses using our AI service.
• To power the Multi-Brain AI Synthesis feature, which combines prompts and responses from multiple AI platform optimisations into a single, unified master response. Your prompt content from each platform variant is sent to our AI service to produce this synthesised output.
• To generate per-step Master AI Responses within chain prompt workflows, which synthesise all platform-specific prompts for a given step into one comprehensive answer.
• To generate per-platform master prompts that merge all chain steps for a specific platform into one comprehensive, copy-paste-ready prompt.
• To generate total master prompts that synthesise all steps across all platforms into one ultimate unified prompt.
• To generate per-platform summaries and per-step chain summaries for granular review of generated content.
• To include current date and time context in prompts for more relevant and accurate AI responses.
• To process subscription purchases securely through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
• To respond to support enquiries you submit.
• To progressively learn your preferences (preferred tone, platforms, and topics) from your usage patterns, stored locally on your device, to auto-suggest and improve future prompt generations.
• To enforce fair-use limits based on your subscription tier. Usage counters are tracked locally on your device and reset daily and monthly. No usage data is transmitted to our servers.We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.3. Third-Party AI PlatformsPromptIQ AI allows you to copy generated prompts and open third-party AI platforms (such as OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, Google's Gemini, xAI's Grok, and Perplexity) via their public web URLs.PromptIQ AI does not transmit any of your data to these platforms. When you choose to open an external platform, you leave PromptIQ AI and are subject to that platform's own terms of service and privacy policy. Any information you submit to those platforms is governed solely by their respective policies.We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any of these third-party platforms. We simply provide convenient links to their publicly available web interfaces.4. Clipboard UsageWhen you tap "Use in" or "Copy," your prompt is copied to your device's clipboard so you can paste it into your chosen AI platform. This clipboard action occurs locally on your device.PromptIQ AI does not access, read, or store clipboard data from other applications. We only write to the clipboard when you explicitly request it.5. Data Storage & SecurityYour favourites, history, profile data, and usage-pattern learning data are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. This data is not uploaded to our servers unless required for a specific feature you initiate (e.g. AI chat, prompt generation, or Multi-Brain AI Synthesis).Your profile context (profession, expertise level, communication style, goals, and any free-text context you provide) is included in prompt generation requests to our AI service solely for the purpose of personalising your prompts. This context is not retained by our servers beyond the time needed to process your request.When data is transmitted to our servers (for prompt generation, AI chat, Multi-Brain AI Synthesis, summary generation, or master prompt creation), it is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption. We do not retain your prompt content beyond the time needed to process your request.Subscription and payment data is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store (iOS) or Google through the Play Store (Android). We do not have access to your payment details.6. Children's PrivacyPromptIQ AI is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.7. Your Rights & Data DeletionYou have full control over your data:• Clear your history and favourites at any time from within the app.
• Usage tracking data resets automatically (daily and monthly) and is permanently removed when you delete the app.
• Delete the app to remove all locally stored data, including profile data, usage patterns, cached generations, and usage counters.
• Request deletion of any server-side data by contacting us at [email protected].If you are in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, restrict processing, and data portability.
